Supporting Your Athletic Activity
Any type of athletic activity involves repetitive movements and increased demands on the body. It is my goal to assist you in preventing injury by getting the muscles and connective tissue in a more balanced state. It is also important to treat any existing imbalances so that you can safely progress. Together, we can determine the appropriate combination of modalities to integrate into your training:
- Massage Therapy
- Yoga
- Targeted Strengthening
- Meditation / Breath Work
- Energy Work
Who Can Benefit?
You don’t have to be a professional athlete to seek out additional support. Just a few examples of athletic activities that may benefit from my services:
- Running (short or long distance)
- Biking
- Swimming
- Organized group sports (football, soccer, softball, etc.)
- Dancing
- Weight Training
What Can Potentially Be Accomplished?
Through an integrated approach, athletes can work toward the following:
- Increase or maintain range of motion (if no structural limitations)
- Decrease pain, discomfort, stiffness, or tension
- Recover more quickly from training or performing
- Reduce risk of certain injuries
- Increase efficiency
